đŸ‘šâ€đŸ’»â€ă€Release Note】eWeLink CUBE V2.4.3 Update

Checked it.
They recieved the message and failed to relay it to app dev team until just now.
The dev team are checking it.

Their suggestion: bypass the VPN :worried:

I’m using the VPN to not expose my internet connection to these IoT devices.
Worth to check: https://www.imperva.com/blog/archive/imperva-blocks-our-largest-ddos-l7-brute-force-attack-ever-peaking-at-292000-rps/

Everything is working fine for Amazon Ring devices, Google Nest devices. The problem is only on Sonoff & eWelink devices.

Suggestion: buy a router that have a VPN client and test it, like this one. It’s very cheap and this company is only 50Km from your office.

It’s weird that the device is going offline/online one after another. Never 2 devices on the same time.

Any issues to report with the new update so far?

I didn’t notice any changes.

it seems that devices have become more responsive. no more lags
for the moment

Tailscale hesaba giriƟ yapamıyor
GĂŒncelleme sonrasında yeniden baƟladı ihost ancak tailscale hesaba giriƟ yapamaz oldu

It seems okay.
I didn’t notice any change, to be honest.

According to the changelog, looks like just a change on the background.

I have installed version 2.4.3 of iHost + the 2.4.3 French version, and my Docker’s add-on became in CHINEESE.
I tried to ROLLBACK (restore) to a version 2.4.2 saved, but the config STILL SHOW 2.4.3 on restart. Restoring doesn’t work properly.
Who else is having this issue?

After updating from 2.4.2 to “successfull” status, on January 16th, the ihost reset the CAST panel.
Then it was impossible to configure it, the save button remained grayed out
Yesterday, on the release date of firmware 2.4.3, without any intervention on my part, the firmware crashed:

Ihost out of service unrecoverable !

Factory reset inoperative, only the ethernet ip is assigned. The ihost remains indefinitely with the sliding red led. I did not even have time to operate the 2.4.3 update for:
The version refines the system’s mechanism to better handle internal storage.

Can you try open it in another browser or in an incognito window?
And see if the problem persist?

Can you open the iHost page via IP or domain?

On the current firmware, scenes do not work correctly

Cast - graphs are drawn very slowly.

I am upgrade ihost 2.4.3, and now the file Browsert shows the devices as if it were the Home interface and not the folders. It wasn’t available this afternoon and scene didn’t work either, a restart only helped

That’s a known bug.
We’ll fix it in next version.

Did you input the port of filebrowser correctly?

I tried the port, it works, but the user asks for a pair of passwords and I don’t know what the username is?

That’s the default username and password for filebrowser.

This one I might missed.
Can you elaborate the situation and problem?
