đŸ‘šâ€đŸ’»â€ă€Release Note】eWeLink CUBE V2.4.3 Update

My GU10, from Moes, also doesn’t support Startup mode in iHost.

In some Tuya devices, Power-on Behavior is called as Do Not Disturb mode. It appears to use the cluster 0x0300 (768) with attribute 0xFA (250), with data 0 to disable DND and 1 to enable DND.

Even using color cluster, it works on some LED strip with dimmer only devices.

The other SONOFF devices in you account won’t offline and online, just the Sonoff TX Smart Light Switch?

For now, we only support ON/OFF/Last State as startup options.
We’ll take you advice and evaluate it in future version.

We just checked that GU10 itself doesn’t support startup mode.

Thanks. But isn’t it possible to implement Do Not Disturb feature? It’s similar to startup mode.

Have you tried this again with v2.4.1 on iHost? The changelog suggests that they added full support for some air quality meters, but it’s not clear which.

It’s possible if that’s part of Zigbee standard, at least, a commonly used cluster.

Others are ZigBee devices and they are all OK.
The only ones with problem are the Sonoff Wireless devices (TX Smart Light Switch).

I have 5 of them.

Yesterday at around 4PM (I did a bypass on the VPN for 1 device) and it stopped going online and offline.

So the problem is when they are connected on Router that is running a VPN Client.

But why?

I have Nest Thermostat and Ring Intercom and they are all good even when connected on the same router using VPN.

Well, I think it’s some common feature on Tuya lights. I have same feature in GU10 from Moes, LED strip dimmer generic from and LED strip color from Zemismart.

Hello.
Where can I find details about the new updates of the Add-on in docker?
For example, about the add-on “eWeLink Smart Home”, which was updated to version 2.4.4 but without details.
Or about the palette “node-red-contrib-ewelink-cube” in node red which is at version 1.3.3, without details.
Another question, a year ago there was talk on the forum about the addressable LED strip on iHost, about the possibility of controlling it not only to see if it is connected to the internet. This could be done with a simple LED, there was no need for an addressable LED strip.
There was also talk about the possibility of being able to play custom sounds, notifications from node red, not to mention TTS from node red. A year has passed since these things were promised. It’s useless to integrate Matter, zigbee, wifi, Zigbee2MQTT etc
if you can’t use notifications about connected devices.

@SuiKa, I uploaded a video to eWeLink feedback 225008

We’ll forward it to our APP team.

You can add a Zigbee LED strip to the iHost. The iHost thinks it is a bulb. I will look in my purchase history now.

The 2m Zigbee version of this:

I agree on connected devices but as a work around for now the eWeLink app has the MAC address. On your router you can find the IP, set it static and then use the Node Red multiple ping node to check they are online or there is an eWeLink node to list connected devices you can check it contains the important devices and if not get notified by Discord, Telegram, Pushover etc. It’d be nice if there was a local version of the device online notification but until then just ping important stuff.

Thanks.

It’s working, but the label/icon is too small to identify what they are.
