👨‍💻‍【Release Note】eWeLink CUBE V2.4.0 Update: Matter Lights, External Sensors for TRV, and More

I just tried add a SNZB-03, and the scene is working fine.

It might have something to do with browser cache?
Try clear all the cache of your browser or just open iHost page with an incognito window.
And see if the scene option appears.

I start my alarm via a switch, with a delay and than trigger the required alarm mode.
So via a scene thus

This can result in triggering scenes in a totally different behaviour.

For example, if you have this scene:

Open the gate when you press the button and the light is on;

If you remove the button device, keeping the scene without it, the scene will become:

Open the gate when the light is on.

This is unsafe.

When one device is removed, the whole scene must be removed to avoid resulting in a danger scene starting automatically.

Or, the software must send you an warning:
“The scene is disabled/paused because one device is not present anymore”.

Exactly as you write. The second situation is more complicated but better for the user and is needed for extensive automation. The user is notified where the error is and this error can be quickly fixed. This is the function that should be implemented in ihost.

Good point.
I’ll send it to our team and see if we can optimize it.

Hello.
I can’t make a backup. It says delete the old backup but I don’t have any backup.

Do you happen to have files exceeding 1.5GB? It’s the limit for a backup at the moment.

Where can I see the size?

I am using 3 GB TF card.

A post was split to a new topic: Add #HEX value inputs to Color Picker on eWeLink CUBE

Could it be Node red or Homebridge that is generating large files? I had a similar problem with HA, I deleted it and it worked normally!

HA or Homebridge?
I’m a little confused.

It’s hard for us to recognize what add-on occupied the most space in the SD card from log.
We’ll try something else to find out.

In my case, HA was the problem.

7 posts were split to a new topic: eWeLink CUBE won’t pull firmware update for TRVZB

Will Sonoff POWR3 devices now export energy entities via the matter bridge?

Any bugs or issues found with the new update yet?

I don’t want to install it and have my whole system messed up for a week or two.

seems working

Not now. Matter Bridge just upgraded to 1.3 spec only for stability bug fixes within Matter SDK. The team will add more support based on this in future versions.
