NSPanel Pro V4.3.3 Wi-Fi Problem

After updating the panel to version 4.3.3, I installed Home Assistant and everything worked fine. After a factory reset, I can’t connect to the Wi-Fi network. I think this is because I have a space in the Wi-Fi password. I tried connecting to another network that doesn’t have spaces in the password and it was successful. Is there a solution that doesn’t require changing the Wi-Fi password? Changing the password would require reconfiguring many devices on my network.

You won’t get much done through the eWeLink interface — the issue comes from how the setup wizard parses spaces in the password, not from Android/Linux itself. Try entering Android directly, skip the eWeLink overlay, and connect to Wi‑Fi from the native system settings.

Thanks for the info. That is exactly what I did and it worked!

I have a similar problem, but I’m not using spaces in the password of wi-fi network. This device used to work perfectly. I can’t say for sure, but I believe this started happening after the latest firmware update. The device is unable to connect to any Wi‑Fi network. I have already removed it from my account, performed a reset on the device, and even so, when I try to add it again, I select the Wi‑Fi network, enter the network password, and the network appears as unavailable. It does not open the screen to generate the QR code to add the device to my account. I have tried both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks, but none of them work. The Wi‑Fi network configuration is correct. I have two other NS Panels (not pro) in my home that work normally, in addition to 58 other SONOFF devices (Wi‑Fi and Zigbee). I have two separate and dedicated networks for my automation devices, so I’m certain the issue is not with the network or its configuration.

A few questions:
Is there any way for me to connect a PC or another device to reinstall the firmware?
Is there any other type of reset I can perform, besides the standard one through the settings screen, that would allow me to reinstall or update the firmware?

It’s not similar at all. It’s a completely different story.

You need to tell us the name of your device. What is it?

I´m sorry not be clear. I just replied because the topic is the same. My device is a NSPanel Pro updated to V4.4.3 and does not connect to wi-fi.

I’d recommend keeping it simple:

:one: Try a recovery reset (if the device still allows it):
At boot, try holding your finger on the screen, or go to Settings → System → Reset and perform a full factory reset again.

:two: Try connecting through a phone hotspot (2.4 GHz only!)
Use a very simple SSID and password (e.g., testwifi / 12345678).
NSPanel Pro can be picky with certain routers, so this sometimes helps.

:three: Flashing the firmware via ADB (the most common workaround):
NSPanel Pro is basically Android, so you can:

  • connect it to a PC via USB‑C
  • enable ADB
  • push the firmware again

There are guides online, but it requires some technical steps. Be careful!

:four: If it doesn’t even reach the QR‑code screen:
There’s a good chance the latest Sonoff firmware has a bug — there have been reports. At that point, the only practical solution is to contact SONOFF Support.
They can provide a repair firmware package (not publicly available) or arrange an RMA/replacement if the update bricked your device.

Thank you @jam3. I’m travelling this week and I’ll try your suggestions next weekend. I’ll be back with results.
