# New device - SONOFF MINI-D Dry Contact Relay

the name of the wifi product is “mini-d” I don’t know what it is but I already see a minus and it is that it is a wifi device.

For me, WiFi is better than ZB, a gateway is not necessary, and ZB devices have frequent outages, even if they are powered less. But in the case of replacing the gateway, it is not possible to migrate the device smoothly to the new gateway, this problem is not present with WiFi.

I completely agree with you in this regard. But autonomy in scenes with interruptions in the Internet, zb significantly wins. For me personally, this is very important. If the developers implement the ability to archive scenarios, then zb will be a couple of steps higher than wifi.
