# Integrate scenes with weather channel

I am a Sonoff home automation installer and my clients are medium-sized construction companies. It would add a lot of value if eWelink could take data from the weather channel and trigger routines based on that. For example, if it is cloudy, I turn on lights in dark rooms. If it rains I disable irrigation, if the outside temperature is low I enable heating, if the humidity is low I turn on humidifier, etc.

Hi, would also like to have weather events to trigger SCENES. While we wait for that functionallity to be developed, I can share a tip I am doing in my installations. Just use any Tuya device with dry contacts connected to S1 / S2 Sonoff Mini external keys contacts. Use Tuya to set up all your weather alerts and turn on / off that tuya device, what in turn will control the Sonoff Mini triggering ewelink Scenes.
