I was wondering: would it be possible to expose iHost items to the Ewelink app through the Matter bridge? This would allow zigbee item connected to iHost to be shown in the ewelink app ---

However, you will need an additional Matter Hub device (such as the SONOFF NSPanel Pro) on your local network. Please note that iHost itself can only act as a Matter Bridge device to convert protocols and cannot directly control devices. ---

The matter hub needs to be from sonoff or it could be something else (like a Google Home Mini)? ---

That’s good news, but how to setup that? In Ihost I’ve linked google llc in the matter bridge page and I have a google home mini in the local network. What’s missing? ---

I apologize for any misunderstanding. I have confirmed with the product team that in order for iHost devices to be displayed in the eWeLink app, they must be eWeLink ecosystem products. Currently, support for devices from other manufacturers is not available. I’m really sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you for your understanding! ---

hello, you can also use your idle Android tablet to install the [**eWeLink CAST App**](https://ewelink.cc/cast-app-user-guide/) to act as a Matter Hub for the eWeLink ecosystem. ---

In that case I should dedicate a phone to that, leave it turned on and in the home network all the time, right?
