I don’t believe any one who can create scenes on the iHost natively can’t use Node Red. The whole design is supposed to be easy. Password protecting it or something maybe, but not simply using it. ---

Sonoff could have solved the major problem by adding a backup function at the beginning. ---

Just do a search. eWeLink has provided a response quite thoroughly justifying the reasons why end-to-end backup has not been implemented. Some find this convincing, others not at all. It didn’t convince me. That’s why I let go of iHost and now use HA on RPI. Scene backup is something else. As far as I remember, this was provided for addition. It should be. The question is when. Hopefully as soon as possible. The eWeLink comment is welcome. Again. ---

How does Node Red require any more handiness than the inbuilt scenes on the iHost? ---

maybe to do an update, but I think it will stay for another year for now. Otherwise we will make the thrift store happy with it. ---
