My zigbee Hub Ultra is unstable since I upgraded from 1.18 to 2.4 and continues in 2.6
How do I downgrade back to 1.18??

The Zigbee Hub Ultra can’t be downgraded after moving to 2.x - the bootloader blocks older firmware and no 1.18 recovery image exists.
If it’s unstable, your options are factory reset, waiting for the next update, or contacting support.
As for AI: the vendor may use AI‑assisted tools, but firmware is still reviewed, tested and cryptographically signed by engineers. AI cannot directly alter the device or cause regressions on its own.
Hello, thank you for your feedback. We sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience.
Regarding downgrading: currently, we are unable to support downgrading back to version 1.18. Firmware versions involve changes to underlying protocols and data structures. Forcing a downgrade may cause the device to malfunction or result in data loss. Therefore, we cannot provide a downgrade path to 1.18 at this stage.
Regarding your mention of using AI to fix bugs: our firmware fixes are all carried out by our engineering team through manual analysis, reproduction, code review, and regression testing. We do not use AI to automatically generate or release firmware fixes.
To help us investigate the instability issue, could you please describe the specific situation in more detail? For example:
Does the gateway randomly go offline?
Do Zigbee sub-devices drop offline or become unresponsive?
Is there latency or failure when controlling devices via the app?
We will forward this information to our technical team for further investigation. Thank you again for your patience and cooperation.
